Bin jane nirankar prabhu nun janam akaarath jana ey;
Maya vich galtaan bande da dhrig peena dhrig khana ey. Papaan naal iktthe keete dhan da jhootha mana ey; Jhooth pasara sach kar manne jhootha peta tana ey. Naam bina kujh naal nahin janda ant jeev pachchtanda ey; Kahe avtar main gur ton vaari jo eh rab milanda ey. |

Human life would go waste without knowing the Formless God;
Cursed is the food and drink of the person, who is ever engrossed in mammon (Maya). False is the pride of the riches acquired by foul means; The ignorant takes the illusory world of materialism as true, but all this is false network. Nothing goes with man except Divine Name, and he has to repent at last; Avtar says, I sacrifice my all unto the True Master, who makes man realize God. |
Meaning
Human life is waste without knowing the Formless God. The food and drink of the person is of no use, who is always indulged in mammon (Maya). The wealth acquired by false means is no reason of pride. Those who are not able to realize God, think that this materialistic world is the truth (that it exists forever). Nothing goes with the man except Divine Name, and he has to repent at last. Here Baba Avtar Singh ji says, I cant express my gratitude to the True Master, who makes man realize God.
